Italian champions Inter Milan thumped
Red Star Belgrade 4-0 at the San Siro Tuesday night to notch
their first Champions League win after their debut draw against
English champs Manchester City.
The goals came from Turkey midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Austria
striker Marko Arnautović, Argentina striker and Inter captain
Lautaro Martinez, and Iran striker Mehdi Taremi (penalty).
City rivals AC Milan went down to their second straight
Champions defeat after losing to Liverpool 3-1 at home, with
Bundesliga champs Bayer Leverkusen beating the Rossoneri 1-0 in
Germany thanks to a goal from Nigeria striker Victor Boniface.
