The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) must
stop attacks on UNIFIL, Italy, France, Germany and the UK said
Monday.
The foreign ministers of Italy, France, Germany and Great
Britain expressed in a joint statement "deep concern over the
recent attacks by the IDF on UNIFIL bases, which have injured
several peacekeepers.
"These attacks must cease immediately.
"We condemn any threat to the security of UNIFIL. "Any
deliberate attack" against the mission in Lebanon "violates
international humanitarian law and Security Council resolution
1701".
