A 42-year-old man was shot dead
Saturday afternoon in the courtyard of a warehouse in Pontirolo
Nuovo near Bergamo, in the Fornasotto area.
The alarm was raised around 2:40 p.m. when the injured man tried
to leave the courtyard, collapsing to the ground along state
highway 525.
Shortly before, he had argued with other people - apparently at
least 6 or 7 according to witnesses - in the courtyard of the
company, which deals in the sale and purchase of cars.
The medical car and ambulance arrived on the scene but there was
nothing that could be done for the victim.
The Carabinieri of Treviglio are handling the investigation.
