The Italian foreign ministry's
website is back up and running after an attack by Russian
hackers Saturday, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Sunday.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website is back up and running
at full capacity after yesterday's hacker attack," said Tajani,
who is also deputy premier, on X.
"Access has been restored for all IPs, including those outside
the Italian geographic area.
"We will continue to strengthen the security measures of our
systems, providing the Farnesina with increasingly effective
tools to deal with current cyber challenges".
The attack also targeted Milan's Malpensa and Linate airports,
causing inconvenience to travellers seeking updates but not
disrupting flights.
