Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti
said Saturday he saw signs of a "mild vitality" in the economy
and stressed the importance of boosting growth.
"Our economy grew in 2023 as well, albeit at a slower pace, and
is showing a fair degree of vitality", said Giorgetti during the
swearing-in ceremony of the students of the Guardia di Finanza
(tax police) Academy in Bergamo.
"Reinforcing these elements of growth," he concluded, "is also
necessary in the near future to face the scenario of
international uncertainties with greater confidence and to
support the positive signals of the labour market."
