The council of address of the CRT
Foundation on Tuesday approved new rules on its governance,
statute and regulations outlined by the economy ministry (MEF).
The green light from the foundation's body, chaired by Anna
Maria Poggi, was delivered within the deadline set by the
economy ministry, which on July 23 gave it a month to adopt
rigid guidelines to avoid being placed under receivership.
The ministry led by Giancarlo Giorgetti will now have to decide
whether the measures approved by CRT are valid.
"The foundation has shown that it has a solid structure", CRT
President Anna Maria Poggi told ANSA.
"I hope the task we have undertaken and the whole work we have
done, shown by the paper we are sending to Rome, will be
sufficient".
Seven councillors in June were placed under investigation by
Turin prosecutors over alleged illicit interference on the
assembly.
