Italy lied at the bottom of an EU
ranking on employment levels for new high school and university
graduates, European statistical bureau Eurostat said on
Wednesday.
Eurostat estimated that 83.5% of new European graduates already
had a job in 2023, up 1.1% on 2022 compared to 67.5% in Italy,
which was at the bottom of the ranking.
The estimate regarded people between the ages of 20 and 34 who
had graduated high school or had obtained a BA or master's
degree in college.
