The president of the Italian Bishops
Conference (CEI), Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, is expected in Moscow
in the coming hours for a new mission as part of the Vatican's
humanitarian initiative for the conflict in Ukraine,
well-informed sources have told ANSA.
Cardinal Zuppi carried out his first mission to Moscow in June
2023.
