Three teens between the ages of 12
and 14 have received an official warning issued by the police
commissioner of the Campania city of Caserta for bullying a
classmate with autism, police sources said Wednesday.
The police investigation kicked off after the parents of the
victim, aged 13, reported the case to the authorities in May
2023.
The teen was allegedly insulted and verbally and physically
attacked by a small group of classmates who are not criminally
liable because of their age.
On one occasion, the group even forced the 13-year-old to
undress, according to the sources.
Because of the bullying, the victim was forced to take
antidepressants, they said.
