Rimini's Fellini Museum is showing 42
'Prick' sketches the great director did for his 1976 film
Casanova.
The collection of drawings of his member the Dolce Vita and 8
1/2 master created for the film starring Donald Sutherland as
the inveterate sexual conqueror have captions in English, as if
Fellini was planning an international exhibit that never
happened.
Given by Fellini to his friend and collaborator Tonino Guerra,
the series of drawings is now in the hands of Rimini-born Web
entrepreneur and art collector Massimiliano Benedetti, who says:
"I have always found the graphic work of the maestro brilliant,
in the simplicity of line and the irony of the ideas.
"I think this show will enable people to fully understand how
modern his vision was on the top of erotica".
The titillating sketches are the second major collection of
Fellini drawings after his famed Book of Dreams.
