Seven Leicester City fans were
arrested after their 2-1 Europa Conference League semi-final
aggregate defeat to AS Roma Thursday night, police said Friday.
They have been charged with attacking stewards after trying to
get to Roma tifosi who had thrown objects at them.
The arrested men are aged between 23 and 46.
Six stewards and five police were hurt in the clashes.
After beating the English side 1-0 on the night following a 1-1
draw in Leicester, the Giallorossi now face Feyenoord in the
final after the Dutch side beat Marseilles 3-2 on aggregate.
Two other Leicester fans were cited over the violence.
All nine have been served DASPO stadium bans.
