Russia must bear full responsibility
for a missile strike inside the Polish border with Ukraine that
killed two people even though the strike was probably caused by
a Ukraine anti-air missile, Premier Giorgia Meloni told a press
conference after the G20 summit in Bali Wednesday.
"A brusque reawakening this morning with the news coming from
Poland, we asked for information, we met and consulted with our
allies," said the Italian PM.
"The hypothesis that a Ukrainian anti-air missile fell on Poland
does not change the substance (of the incident), as far as we
are concerned the responsibility for what happened is wholly
Russian.
"And with our allies we condemned Moscow's missile attacks".
